Lacrosse Nationals
It was an incredible four days of lacrosse at the National Schools Lacrosse Championships, where the weather truly held out, the sun shone, and some spectacular talent was on display. Our girls were an absolute credit to the school, demonstrating both skill and spirit while winning an impressive 74% of our fixtures over the course of the weekend.
In a series of standout performances, all seven teams we entered progressed into the Championship draws, ensuring that our school was represented in the Top 16 nationally at every single age level. A special highlight was the performance of our U14s, who finished as national runners-up after a phenomenally close and exciting final against Berkhamsted.
This success would not have been possible without our dedicated community; a massive thank you goes to Mrs Bebbington-Crombie, Mr. Rickett, Ms. Morris, Miss Hammond, and Miss Payne-Cook, as well as our incredible parent volunteers for their unwavering support. Finally, thank you to all the parents who traveled to watch and cheer, your presence on the sidelines made it a truly memorable week for the players. Bring on next year!!
