Book Fair Bonanza!

A huge thank you to all the students, parents and staff who supported our annual Scholastic Book Fair this week. The selection of books offered this year was superb, with a fantastic range of diverse and current titles, as well as the ever-popular stationery.

Additional English classes were booked into the library to give as many students as possible the opportunity to browse the fair. The library was definitely ‘the place to be’, drawing crowds at break, lunchtimes and after school, with many students coming back to collect books that they had reserved.

Our sales totalled over £800, which is excellent news as every purchase helps the library earn commission, which goes straight into stocking the library shelves with an array of exciting new books.

We have also been busy all week asking students which books they would like to see added to the library. It’s a brilliant way of making sure the library stocks books that our students want to read. Don’t forget to come and check out our popular new titles!
