Saturday 14th May ~ Boarders May Ball

The event was organised by the new incoming Head Girl Abimbola Paseda who wanted something completely different – and it certainly was!! – from the opening,  girls strutting their stuff on the cat walk, to amazing dancing and singing from our talented boarders, compared by Prene Patti and Emma Parry with their good looks and wit made us all smile.

They were treated to fruity cocktails on their tables and

Tomato & Olive bruschetta set on toasted ciabatta & drizzled with pesto

Chicken Cacciatore served with sautéed fine beans & new potatoes

Exotic fruit syllabub with a mango coulis & tuille biscuit

SARAH PORTER’S WEDDING

Getting married is one of the biggest days of our lives and when Sarah Porter wanted her wedding here in St Georges Chapel in October we wanted to ensure that the special memories she has of her old school lived up to her expectations, Sarah wanted an autumnal theme complete with scattered leaves and hessian covered orders of service, along with her button button holes and specially printed newspapers of the day, we kept to the theme and devised some warm cocktails containing orange and cinnamon and cranberry and honey with a hint of alcohol, served with mini toffee apples, meringue topped pumpkin pie and creamy bread and butter puddings, all a huge hit - though we think the mini toffee apples where everyone's favourite.
